LifeStraw Go Water Filter Bottle with 2-Stage Integrated Filter Straw for Hiking, Backpacking, and Travel Best quick water bottle for places where your tummy might not be able to handle the local tap.
Sawyer Products Squeeze Water Filtration System An easy, light way to filter larger quantities of water for hiking trips.
Luggage
Backpacking backpack - I'd recommend going to REI to get fitted, but I love my Gregory Jade 60 Liters bag I bought in 2012. The Gregory Jade 63 is the newer version.

Windbreaker
Light puffy jacket
Hiking boots
Shower shoes

A bit of masking tape - You can wrap in around your water bottle and could come in handy if your soles separate, bag rips., blister bandaids don't stay on..who knows.
